Prayer for Compassionate Heart

Compassionate Father,

Break my heart for what breaks Yours. Give me eyes to see the hurting, ears to hear the cries of the broken, and hands willing to help. Help me to move from merely feeling compassion to actively showing it through my words and deeds.

Teach me to love not just those who are easy to love, but also those who challenge me. Help me to see past differences and disagreements to the person You created and love.

"Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins." - 1 Peter 4:8

Make me compassionate, Amen.
