Independence Day Prayer for Freedom

God of Freedom,

Today I thank You for the freedoms I enjoy—freedom to worship, to speak, to live according to my conscience. I remember those who sacrificed so much to secure these freedoms, and I pray for those who continue to protect them.

But more than political freedom, I thank You for the ultimate freedom found in Christ—freedom from sin, guilt, and shame. Help me to use my freedom wisely, to honor those who paid the price for it, and to extend that freedom to others.

"It is for freedom that Christ has set us free." - Galatians 5:1

In freedom I stand, Amen.
