Prayer to Forgive Others

God of Grace,

Forgiving those who have hurt me is one of the hardest things You ask me to do. Yet I know that holding onto unforgiveness only hurts me. Help me to release the bitterness, anger, and resentment I've been carrying.

Give me the grace to forgive as You have forgiven me—completely, freely, and without conditions. Help me to see the person who hurt me through Your eyes of compassion.

"Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you." - Colossians 3:13

Help me forgive, Amen.
