Prayer for Courage in Difficult Times

God of Courage,

Fear tries to paralyze me, but I know You have not given me a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-discipline. Give me the courage to face what I've been avoiding, to say what needs to be said, and to do what needs to be done.

Help me to be brave in the face of uncertainty, strong when I want to retreat, and courageous when others falter. Let Your perfect love cast out all fear.

"Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go." - Joshua 1:9
