First Sunday of Advent - Hope

God of Hope,

As Advent begins, I light the candle of hope. In a world that often feels dark and hopeless, You are the light that never goes out. Help me to prepare my heart for the celebration of Your coming—both Your birth in Bethlehem and Your promised return.

Fill me with hope that doesn't depend on circumstances. Remind me that You keep Your promises, and that the wait is always worth it. Come, Lord Jesus, come.
